A Note from Nehal
I fell in love with makeup because of how it makes me feel—bold, powerful, unstoppable. For years, I imagined becoming a dermatologist so I could help people feel confident in their own skin. But while interning in a dermatology lab at Johns Hopkins University, I noticed a striking gap: dermatology research lacked diversity. That realization made me question how cosmetic brands could truly serve people of color. Ultimately, it inspired me to create Nehal & Co.—an inclusive, luxury beauty brand intentionally designed with skin of color in mind.
